How Immaculata Bassey plans to inspire young girls if she becomes the winner of the 10th Edition - Miss Endowed Contest:
If I become the winner of the Miss Endowed Contest – September 2026, I will use my platform to inspire young girls to believe in themselves, discover their worth, and understand that their background does not determine their future.
I want to encourage girls to embrace education, develop useful skills, become financially independent, and pursue their dreams with courage and confidence. I will also use my voice to remind them that setbacks are not the end of their story. As someone who understands that life can come with challenges, I want young girls to know that they can rise above their circumstances and still become the women they dream of becoming.
A challenge Immaculata Bassey faced in life and she overcame it:
faced in life was having to start over after losing things I had worked hard to build. There were moments when I felt discouraged, uncertain about my future, and wondered if I would ever achieve my dreams.
Instead of allowing my circumstances to define me, I chose to rise again. I held on to my faith in God, learned from my experiences, and began taking small steps toward rebuilding my life. I reminded myself that setbacks are not the end of a journey; they can be the beginning of something greater.
That experience taught me resilience, patience, self-belief, and the importance of never giving up. Today, I am still working toward my goals, but I am stronger, wiser, and more determined than before.
My story reminds me that a woman can fall, but she can also rise, rebuild, and become an inspiration to others.
What Immaculata Bassey would do if she could change one thing about the world:
If I could change one thing about the world, I would change the way young girls are made to feel that their circumstances determine their future. Too many girls grow up without the confidence, opportunities, or support they need to discover their potential.
I would work toward a world where every girl has access to education, mentorship, skills, and opportunities to become independent and confident. I would use my platform to organize mentorship programs, support skill-acquisition initiatives, encourage education, and create awareness about the importance of empowering girls.
I believe real change starts with one person, one voice, and one community at a time. I may not be able to change the whole world overnight, but I can positively influence the lives of the girls within my reach. If I can help one girl believe in herself, discover her purpose, and pursue her dreams, then I have already contributed to a better world.
