How Toubolayefa Frank plans to inspire young girls if she becomes the winner of the 10th Edition - Miss Endowed Contest:
I would organize webinars and seminars enlighting girls about how to position themselves for greatness, how to move with high self esteem and confidence in order to call fort goodness in their life as girls. I would partner with local beauty brands and create outreach to girls in secondary and tertiary school to embrace their calling as beauty Queen.
A challenge Toubolayefa Frank faced in life and she overcame it:
Growing up, I was tagged "ugly" by my peer. These words shaped me in a wrong way and it created an impression that I was truly ugly. Because of that, I refuse taking pictures or appearing in public gathering. Whenever I'm alone, I constantly hear the word loud on my mind and it forces me to be an introvert.
How did I overcome this
I accidentally stumble up on a video on YouTube where the lady share her story which was similar to mine and she shared some powerful words that transformed my perception about myself. She called herself beautiful, not minding what others says and she pointed out that she believes in those words because God said in the scriptures that his creatures are wonderfully, fearfully and beautifully made. Therefore, God's words are final. Those words instantly healed the false beliefs I have held in my heart for long. I started telling myself that I am beautiful and wonderful. From that, I started attending public events and I created social media account. The story of that lady on YouTube change my beliefs and that was how I changed overcame it.
What Toubolayefa Frank would do if she could change one thing about the world:
I would limit the range in which people express themselves in public or social media negatively towards another human being. I appreciate the fact that there's freedom of expression and freedom of speech, still, there should be a limit in which people use their speech whenever it's directed towards another person. This limit, would preserve the lives of people who are quickly act towards derogatory words. And also this limit would maintain a reasonable level of self esteem of girls and hyper sensitive people around us.
