How Ruth Lawrence plans to inspire young girls if she becomes the winner of the Miss Endowed Contest - October 2026:
If I become the winner of Miss Endowed, I want to use the platform to remind young girls that their background, circumstances, or challenges do not have to determine their future. I want to encourage them to believe in themselves, pursue education, develop their talents, and become confident in who they are. I also want to lead by example, showing that a young woman can be graceful, intelligent, ambitious, and compassionate at the same time. Through mentorship, positive conversations, and outreach to young girls, I hope to help them discover their worth and understand that their voices, dreams, and ideas matter
A challenge Ruth Lawrence faced in life and she overcame it:
One challenge I have faced is learning to believe in myself even when circumstances made me doubt my abilities. There were times when I compared myself to others and wondered if I was doing enough or if my dreams were achievable. Instead of allowing those thoughts to define me, I learned to focus on my growth, trust the process, and keep working toward my goals. I reminded myself that progress does not always happen quickly, but consistency matters. This experience taught me resilience, patience, and self-confidence, and it made me understand that sometimes overcoming a challenge begins with changing the way you see yourself
What Ruth Lawrence would do if she could change one thing about the world:
If I could change one thing about the world, I would make quality education and opportunities more accessible to young people, especially girls. I believe that when a young person is educated, supported, and given the opportunity to develop their talents, they are better equipped to create a better future for themselves and others. I would use my platform to advocate for education, mentorship, and skill development by supporting outreach programs, encouraging young girls to stay in school, and connecting them with positive role models and learning opportunities. I believe meaningful change begins with empowering one person at a time.
