How Ogbontiba Mercy plans to inspire young girls if she becomes the winner of the Miss Endowed Contest - October 2026:
If I become the winner, I want to inspire young girls to believe in themselves, discover their worth, and pursue their dreams regardless of where they come from or what they have been through. I want them to understand that their circumstances do not define their future, and that they deserve to choose growth, purpose, and happiness.
A challenge Ogbontiba Mercy faced in life and she overcame it:
One major challenge I have faced is having to adjust when things did not go according to the plans I had for my education and future. At first, it was discouraging, but I learned that a setback does not mean the end of the journey. I chose to keep moving, improve myself, explore new opportunities, and work with what I had while preparing for what I wanted. That experience taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of believing in yourself even when the path is not clear.
What Ogbontiba Mercy would do if she could change one thing about the world:
If I could change one thing in the world, I would change the way many young girls see themselves and the opportunities they believe are available to them. I would want every girl to know that her background should not limit her future.

I would start by creating and supporting mentorship programs, encouraging girls to learn practical and income-generating skills, providing access to educational opportunities, and using my platform to share stories that build confidence and ambition. I believe that when you change how a girl sees herself, you can change the direction of her entire life.
